Anne Pigalle grew up in Paris in the middle of the Punk scene. She moved to London and collaborated musically with diverse talents such as: Subway Sect, Adrian Sherwood (an EP“ Hot sagas” with Nick Plytas), Michael Nyman (The “original” Kiss for Channel 4), Trevor Horn (“Everything could be so perfect” ZTT records) etc…

She was also behind the creation of “The Wednesday Nights at the Café de Paris” and produced songs for Japanese commercials. Having pioneered the invention of a new european woman : post feminist, post punk, and slightly emotional, but still in control.

Anne left London for L.A. at the beginning of the nineties where she met the late Donald Cammell and got him interested in her screenplay. She has appeared in Zalman King red shoe diaries, (always decent), and performed for the homeless, downtown LA. She got involved in a theatre production about Bukowski where she played Death. She was voted 5th best live performer of the year by KCRW Santa Monica radio. Currently back in London, she is working on her autobiography, painting and photographic work as well as recording and perfoming her new songs.

She has never stopped singing, writing, witnessing and is occasionally seen by the river…
